Seaside Shells
Using your own words, I will handprint this seaside inspired invitation suite on a paper of your choice.
This suite contains an invite, a details card, RSVP card and plain envelopes.
Choose from paper made from recycled cotton with torn edges, or a smooth finish with recycled cardboard in ivory or white.
I can also offer a variety of fonts for you, and you can decide whether to have your suite printed in one colour or 2 colours.

Have your guests receive a beautiful hand written envelope, with a combination of modern calligraphy and block capitals making it easy and clear to read for the postie.
Written with proper ink and a dip pen.

What is letterpress printing and why is it special?
Letterpress printing is an old form of printing, where the ink is transferred to type or a plate using a roller before being stamped onto the paper.
It can produce a very tactile result, with an impression being felt on the paper where the ink is. Some letterpress work is debossed (which is like embossed only the dent is felt as a recess in the paper rather than a bump!)
The machine I use is hand operated, and dates from the 1960’s or 70’s I think. It’s an Adana 8×5 and as a tabletop press, it gives what is know as a “kiss” impression on the paper rather than a deboss effect. Rather appropriate for a wedding suite!
