Providing the frosts hold off (or at least are held at bay by fleece tunnels!) September is a glorious month for flowers. Here is a glimpse into a September of flowers….

If you would like to receive regular seasonal update, please do sign up to my email – the link is at the bottom of this page. It also gives you access to a pictorial PDF Guide to Seasonal Flowers as they grow for me, here in Kirkby Stephen.

Flowers during September may include:

Dahlias, mint, blue thistle (eryngium), snapdragons (antirrhinums), asters, scabious, clary sage, (Salvia Horminium), astrantia, calendula, rudbeckia, grasses, amaranthus, annual cornflowers, poppies, yarrow (achillea), roses.
