As the months roll on and the nights draw in, Christmas and the festive season is approaching….
This year I’m offering festive swags to decorate your front door. They are made from Cumbrian grown greenery, decorated with dried goodies harvested and saved from the garden, with handmade copper stars for a bit of extra festive sparkle. The top is tied with a plush velvet bow in a choice of gold, red or rich brown. There is a string loop to hang it with.
I’m not using wreath frames for them; I believe that the less moss harvested and the less “stuff” used the better. The easier to compost and reuse afterwards, the happier I’ll be!
However, if a wreath is what you’re after, I am selling wreath kits (free local delivery), and if you call in to see me at the Kirkby Stephen Christmas fair, I will have ready mossed wreath frames available to buy.
On that note, if you’re present shopping, the Kirkby Stephen Christmas fair will be held in the Masonic Hall on the weekend of 26th -27th November. Hopefully this one won’t coincide with a major storm like last year!
