I shared a photo of some of my favourite books over on instagram, thought I’d share the details here. Realised though, I missed out one of the most uplifting and comforting garden books, ‘The Morville Hours’ by Katherine Swift.

I love the way the book moves through the seasons, it makes an especially good winter read when you think it’s never going to be nice out again…..especially this January and last year, it’s been such a comfort.

So, from left to right…..

Books on Gardening:

‘Trees For Your Garden’ by Roy Lancaster

‘The RHS Gardener’s Encyclopedia of Plants and Flowers’ (it does actually have a lot of shrubs and trees too…)

‘The Well Tempered Garden’ by Christopher Lloyd

‘Beth Chatto’s Woodland Garden’ by Beth Chattto

‘Geoff Hmilton’s Paradise Gardens’ by Geoff Hamilton
